Hello! I love to swim. Shortly after I learned to walk as a baby, I found myself running towards the ocean or jumping in the deep end of any pool pretending I was a mermaid. I found a passion in water polo and have been playing for 8 years. I later played Division 1 water polo at Long Beach state where we ranked 7th in the United Sates and competed on the Olympic development team. Now I’m back home and my love for the water hasn’t changed. So excited to meet your little swimmers in the pool!
Molly grew up on the westside of Santa Cruz, and learned to swim through years of little guards, swim team and water polo. She spent her early 20s teaching swim lessons- and is excited to be back in the pool after years off exploring other passions. Teaching swimming has always felt like a calling to Molly. She has built a photography business in the last decade – which is still how she spends her weekends. She loves living in Felton and spends as much time in the river and redwood trails as possible.āÆ
Dylan is originally from San Diego and has been living in the Santa Cruz Mountains for 4 years. He works locally in Felton and is an avid surfer. He has taught children and adults surf lessons for 8 years.Ā

I am a dedicated swim instructor with a passion for teaching and nurturing young swimmers. Since 2013, I have been a preschool teacher at New Discovery School in Seattle, where I have honed my skills in engaging and educating children. In February 2020, I began my journey as a swim instructor at Little Fish, combining my love for swimming and my educational background.
My swimming journey began at Ballard Pool, where I not only learned to swim but also participated in the swim team, fostering my commitment to aquatic safety and skill development. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all my students.Ā
One of my key strengths is helping nervous swimmers overcome their fears and reset their relationship with the water. I believe that with patience, encouragement, and the right techniques, every child can gain confidence and feel comfortable in the pool. I strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere that allows students to thrive.Ā
Having grown up in a family devoted to education, with my mother running an in-home preschool for 20 years, I have a deep understanding of child development and the importance of patience and encouragement in learning. It is my goal to instill confidence and a love for swimming in every child I teach.Ā
