Hello! I love to swim. Shortly after I learned to walk as a baby, I found myself running towards the ocean or jumping in the deep end of any pool pretending I was a mermaid. I found a passion in water polo and have been playing for 8 years. I later played Division 1 water polo at Long Beach state where we ranked 7th in the United Sates and competed on the Olympic development team. Now I’m back home and my love for the water hasn’t changed. So excited to meet your little swimmers in the pool!
Hi, my name is Ava! I’m from Sacramento and have been a swim instructor for three years. I also have experience as a lifeguard, which has strengthened my water safety knowledge and teaching skills. I love working with kids and helping them build confidence in the water. I’m excited to continue sharing my knowledge and helping swimmers of all levels reach their goals!
Dylan is originally from San Diego and has been living in the Santa Cruz Mountains for 4 years. He works locally in Felton and is an avid surfer. He has taught children and adults surf lessons for 8 years.
Hello, my name is Makinna and I am currently studying to be an oceanographer. There is nothing I love more than being in the water. Whether it’s kayaking, scuba diving, or swimming around with the kiddos I feel like I spend more time in water than on land which is exactly how I like it!
Hi Friends! My name is Brooke, also known as “Miss Brooke,” to my toddler & preschool students! I am excited to be on the Little Fish team teaching the Sing Along Swim Classes! These classes combine my love of teaching little ones/connecting with their parents, along with my love of singing & splashing in the pool! I look forward to singing fun songs with you all & helping your littlest fishies find their love for the water! As a mom of two little ones, I can say that parent/child swim classes have been so helpful & rewarding for our family, so I can’t wait to share these methods with you!

Hello! My name is Beth and I have been an instructor at Little Fish Swim School in Seattle since June 2018 and am now also the scheduling manager for Little Fish Felton. I am a mom of two teenagers and a life-long swimmer. I became a swim teacher when my daughters’ elementary school swim program needed instructors. I realized then my passion for helping kids learn to swim and love the water!
