Our one of a kind program gives each swimmer a truly unique and curated swim lesson to expand their love of water and safety skills!
Teachers with backgrounds both in swimming and child development.
Covered, heated backyard pools- a quiet, calm setting for maximum exploration without distraction.
Students receive individualized
instruction to master swimming techniques. Lessons for both new swimmers and those fine tuning strokes.
Our unique methods focus on building swimming skills and learning water safety while having fun! We teach all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re looking for one on one instruction or sing a long swim class for your little ones, we’ve got opportunities for you and your family, year round!
Caregiver and tot, 6 months to 2.5 years with one of our marvelous instructors, building water comfort and having fun. $32 for a single slot lesson- or purchase a package of lessons.
15 or 30 minute solo lessons with an experienced instructor. $32 per single slot or purchase a package of lessons
Rent the pool for an hour long swim all to yourselves for playing and little fish “practice!” $75 per hour long session
Rent the pool with friends to play and practice your “little fish skills!” Group pool rental is up to eight people total- every family must sign up for a Little Fish account to participate. $75 for an hour long rental.
The quiet setting, routine games and predictable flow of lessons make Little Fish ideal for all abilities and neurodivergent swimmers.
Booking is flexible! Lessons are booked individually so you can drop in for a last minute lesson or create a custom schedule of lessons that work for you.
Each swim lesson can be booked one at a time to work around your busy schedule and give us a try. Then feel free to prebook lessons for the whole season!
We teach our lessons in magical backyard pools that are covered by greenhouses for a unique year round swimming experience!

We have several types of lessons.
1. Create an account or sign in to your account. You can go to the “My Account” or “Book Now” button on our home page https://www.littlefishswimschoolcalifornia.net to get started.
2. Choose your preferred lesson type depending on your child’s age and your time preferences.
3. Choose to search availability by staff member or date and time to find an individual lesson that works for your schedule.
4. Next you will be prompted to select a purchase option. If you have booked a single slot lesson, you can purchase any sized package and the remainder of the package credits will remain in your account for subsequent bookings.
5. Complete booking by purchasing the purchase option with your credit card. You will receive email confirmation of your bookings and purchases.
Yes! Contact us and we are happy to help you book a series of weekly lessons. We also offer Prebooking from time to time before a session opens. You can participate in prebooking and sign up for a spot via sign up genius that our staff will book for you for the entire season. As long as you have an account with us and receive news and updates you will get the links and information for prebooking.
We loosely follow the the public schools calendar. Specific dates for opening are TBD and we will send out emails to everyone with all of the specific information starting one month before we open a quarterly schedule.
Little Fish Swim School offers unlimited scheduling/rescheduling/canceling with more than 24 hours notice. When you book a lesson we reserve that slot just for you and we incur pool costs and instructor fees for each lesson booked that can not be recovered if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
As a small business, we ask that you do your best to give us as much notice as possible to enable us to fill your slot.
A cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be forfeited and can not be refunded.
*Please note: There are no make-up lessons for Late Cancels or No Shows. If you Late Cancel your lesson or do not show up, you will automatically lose that lesson – no exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
Late Cancellations (made with 24 hours notice or less) will be charged full price.
No shows are charged full price.
Our lessons expire one year after purchase, please try not to purchase more lessons than you can use in a year, however we can update expiration dates if you have trouble scheduling or rescheduling lessons.
We do not offer refunds on unused lesson credits, but expiration dates are easily extended.
